This bear was commissioned to us by an indie game. The client wanted a massive armored bear. Here is how the concept art progressed over the course of a week. The client was extremely responsive and had clear feedback.
After they were happy with the rough sketches, we moved to colors and details.
Next, we realized a horn would add a lot of uniqueness to the bear. Then iterated the shape and form a bit. Also agreed that the bear was far too large compared to the human reference.
Final color and details.
Next, we went to model the bear. The sculpt was done in Blender along with topology. Armor was done in Zbrush.
Added a custom rig and some animations.
KATANA CASE STUDY
This set of katanas was commissioned to us by a P2E game. The client wanted four different rarities/classes of the same weapon. This job took one week of communication between our team and the clients to iron out the concept and form. Then another week of production. They had no corrections and accepted the finished product as-is. Their total cost was $1,800usd. They received: stl (ready to 3D print file), glb (3D viewer file), fbx (game-ready mesh/rig import file), and textures (colors and patterns for game engines).
Here's what they had to say: "UA gave us EXACTLY what we needed. Their team spent a ton of time making sure everything was how we liked it. We got WIPs along the way everyday and they were patient. They even thought of things we didn't to make sure the 3D prints were "water-tight". Highly recommend. -(NDA), team.
